Get comfortable with your weapon. Learn all the safety
precautions. Do target practice someplace you’re
comfortable. - When my great-great grandfather was
probably your age; he had a family by that time & he
was a lightkeeper on the TN River. He had to carry.
There were some rough people on that river who would have
just as soon rob you and shoot you as to look at you.
- I’m sure you know proper precautions where children
are involved. - Always remember, kids can reach things
even when you think they can’t! - Exercise due diligence.
Kids can always climb up on unexpected things!
Oh, I have had my CCW since they allowed them here! I just know my parents will not own a firearm and realize there is no point in trying to convince them.
