remember last year the British Soldier who was almost beheaded while he was simply walking down the street

Caught ten comparatively sane minutes of Glenn Beck yesterday and he mentioned the slashing/beheading incidents too.

Beck said that British purchases of baseball bats on Amazon spiked incredibly in the aftermath of the knife attacks.

Brits can't buy guns or knives so they stocked up on aluminum (al-you-minie-um in the parlance) bats for self-defense (or defence, if you will).
