Well, if Trump can’t win primaries in NH SC and FL then, obviously, I’m wrong and I will be glad to admit it.
On the ground in NH, things look good right now. I had Thanksgiving dinner with a bunch of Boston Democrats, all of whom are on board.
I worked around the corner from the Eire Pub in Dorchester when Ronald Reagan went in there and had a beer with the guys. Reagan won Massachusetts twice, as I’m sure you know. Trump has these same people turned on.
All I’m saying right now is that I want to hear from the Cruz supporters what the theory is that has him winning states that Romney lost. So far, I’ve asked that question probably 15 times and the only answers have been abuse.
If Cruz is the nominee I will enthusiastically support him (although I would much prefer him on the Supreme Court). But he has zero appeal to “Reagan Democrats”, the GOPe is going to defect, and the math doesn’t add up for me.

NH is nut case country. Anything can happen there, but they are very liberal compared to most of the country.
Trump has zero chance with real Reagan aficionados. Reagan gave us instant substance, while so far Trump has just blown smoke that can’t fool a real commonsense voter.
What Romney did is totally irrelevent. He never even tried to win anything; he was wearing practice gloves in every “debate.” Cruz is energized and more cognizant of the relevant facts on every issue, and will call out every lie, and every excuse, wherever he may be speaking.
