To protect American national security we must first understand what threatens American national security. We must grasp who our enemies are, what animates them, and how they work together - despite their internecine rivalries - to destroy us from without and within. We must stop trying to define "true Islam" and start restoring our own principles as our guide: liberty, equality of opportunity, the rule of law, and peace through strength.
The vast majority of Americans still believe in these principles. It is Washington that has lost faith. It is Washington that looks at liberty's enemies and sees friends; that looks at anti-Western Islamic supremacists and sees "moderates" it can play ball with; that looks at lawbreakers and tut-tuts that "the system is broken."
Reinvigorating American principles will require taming Washington. It calls for restoring the Constitution as a vital limit on government, not a relic...or an obstacle. Ted Cruz gets this. Many Republicans talk the talk - we hear it in every election season, right up until it is time to stop campaigning and start governing. Senator Cruz walks the walk. That is why I believe he should be the next president of the United States.

They’re not as bad as the Perrybots from 2012 who flooded FR with homeoerotic photos of their man a-hoeing and a-raking and lookin’ lovingly into the eyes of a stallion. And those people worked endlessly to get anti-Perrys banned. By that light, I’d say they’re not too bad. They really hate Trump, though. They just don’t seem to hate their fellow freepers...yet.

Not just you, we have noticed a lot of them, knowing his past history since he has been a ‘politician’ are afraid he’s going to lose, which he is because he has flipped flopped on so many things now, I can’t keep up with him...
It’s ok for the ‘libs’ and ‘politicians’ to change their minds, or have affairs, or steal money, or be caught in ‘cat houses’ but heaven forbid if a Republican does that, why it’s the end of the world...
Just to clear things up, nothing changed at NRO. Andy McCarthy just happens to be their token conservative.

The answer, designed to entice my support? “Get the Hell out of the way, we don’t have time to waste on the likes of you!”

Cruz is a ‘politician’ and they speak out of both sides of their mouths, a lot of the time at once...we don’t want a ‘politician’ in the White House, and especially with just 3 years of experience, we got that now, and look where that has us...
We want a STRONG, SAY IT LIKE IT IS leader, who isn’t afraid to fight...and standing on the Senate floor is not fighting....first Cruz is for the fence then he’s for H1B and now he’s against H1B and then he’s for TTP and TPA and then he isn’t, you can’t keep up with him, he always has his finger in the air trying to figure out where the wind is blowing....
We don’t want that anymore....

Cruz is a proven man of honor, and the only one running in this election.
He is the only person in the field that has done constructive things for our well being as a nation.
His accomplishments are great in stature, as I’m sure you are aware.
