There are a number of instances in the Holy Qurâan where taqiyah is endorsed. The first is the story of Ammar ibn Yasir who under severe torture gave in and denounced Islam verbally with words. However, his heart never swayed from the true faith. He went to the Prophet distraught, thinking he had lost his religion. The Prophet (pbuh) asked: âwas your heart sure of Islam?â Ammar replied: âyes, I only denounced it verbally because of their tortureâ. The Prophet (pbuh) said: âthen it is okay, and if they come and do the same to you again, you say the same thing againâ. The following ayah of the Holy Qurâan is regarding this incident.
I was under the impression (by the progressive socialists, athiest, agnostics et all) that we all worshipped the same God, but by a different name.
The above illustration clearly says otherwise.
The liberal mind will take your assertion and twist the issue to be that the god of Christianity teaches the same murderous lying living ‘somewhere’ in the Bible, ‘probably the Old Testament’. Magic Thinking allows the liberal mind to conclude before weighing the data. Thus the data will be seen to support the already determined preferred conclusion.
