Nicholas Thalasinos had every right to his beliefs and every right to express them and go on living. I wonder if there was religious discussion at work between the two. Not good, if it happened. Does not excuse what the vile dogs did.
If you were in management, how would you have liked to have had both reporting directly to you and working in the same job function? Personnel problem from hell.
Wonder what this vile dog's imam was whispering in his ear? No doubt if it was violent, he(imam) is sophisticated enough to hide the evidence.
There was 2 weeks ago and Syed insisted islam was a peaceful religion and did not condone killing.
Ironic isn't it?
The house was an arsenal...she had to know they were terrorists.
Guess he lost the debate.
Don't worry about that, it's not a proper spelling anyway. The Arabs don't use the English alphabet, and since we are Americans, a "q" is always followed by a "u".
So it should be spelled: "Tawkeya" or "Tockeya".
Same with mosk.
Why honor the filth by accepting anything they posit.
Exactly what happened. Defeat = murder.
I believe they had a different or a string of targets planned. The guy murderer picked a fight with the Jewish victim just to use that as an excuse for going there. No way in hell it was just these two acting alone.
I am wondering who his associates were. Wonder if it is possible for LEO to figure out who was visiting the lovely new American family. Also, whats with the cuts or gashes in the walls? Did this peaceful, devout man have a rage problem at home with his sweet bride?
The walls - good catch. Is it possible she was the one with a rage problem? I also believe she is/was not who they claim she was. Her visa address in Pakistan is nonexistent.
His family lawyer's news conference was the standard: just a good ole American worker, liked to work on old and new cars, never blew anyone up, devout good guy, Oh what happened?
There is so much we must do to understand this model lest it keep repeating over and over. And also there are a large number of Americans who have been fighting for ISIS, and enemy of the US who have committed treason, and are eligible to return uncharged. Why is this so? Let's stop this.
good link, thank you.
I’m gorging myself on humble pie here. Tonight, the 5th of December another poster used the term taqiya in a new, and different post from this one.
I looked at this again.
You are correct, BUT, and I say BUT in capital letters I still am confused how we’ve been using Political Correctness.
OK, the word Taqiya I had mixed up with jizyah which is the tax on non believers, so that messed me up in our initial discussion early on.
Taqiya once associated with dissimulation, and then noting synonyms the likes of pretense · dissembling · deceit · dishonesty · duplicity · puts it into proper perspective. (I still don’t understand your comments about PC though.)
Anyway, I am here to tell you job well done, and thanks for the heads up on Taqiya, but PC hasn’t a thing to do with it. Understanding the extent of Islamic deceit has more to do with it than anything else as I see it.
Thank you for the kind words.
The reason I look at taqiya in this instance, is that as a human in the workplace I formed bonds with the people I worked with. Some few, quite frankly I did not like much. However, were I bent on a mission of mayhem ordered by some higher power that I must obey, I would choose not to murder my friends. I would prefer to go after strangers. This animal chose to go after his workplace friends. And I am presuming he had workplace friends. Also, I do not think that he was insane.
I am thinking that the concept of Taqiya from the Koran may have inspired him to attack his workplace friends, i.e. deceiving them and then defeating them, where defeat = kill.
We seem not to want to understand Islam. I find it disturbing that the Islamic concept of Taqiya is not being discussed with regard to San Bernardino.
