To be sure, just about the last thing the EU needed was another blow to European solidarity.
The monumental challenge of coping with the millions of refugees who have inundated the Balkans on their way to Germany has splintered the bloc and now, the debate on how best to deal with the flood of asylum seekers threatens to shatter the sacred Schengen ideal altogether.
On Wednesday we reported that the EU has now threatened Greece with indefinite suspension from the Schengen passport-free travel zone unless it overhauls its response to the migration crisis by mid-December, as frustration mounts over Athensâ reluctance to accept outside support. At the same time, Turkey (who is now fond of starting world wars) is set to receive a â¬3 billion check to support Ankaraâs efforts to "keep migrants in the region."
Well, in case the situation wasn't fractious enough, Denmark voted against further integration on Thursday in a referendum that boasted a turnout of 72%. As WSJ reports, "voters were asked if parliament should have the power to opt-in on a total of 22 EU justice and home affairs laws, from which the small Nordic country has hitherto been exempt."
53% of Danes said "no".

I recall observing the lack of border security between European countries in the early 1970s. I recall being somewhat mildly shocked at the time, although I could not then come up with a reason for my discomfort.
Is not blaming Greece scapegoating?

It's too late, you are already my serfs, get back to work if you want heat this winter.
Good. The EU is a montrosity.
One very appropriate comment from the ZeroEdge site...
“The Danish government needs to have this referendum decided in a California court so that one idiot can overturn the ballot”
LOL! Nice catch. ;-)
They should have adopted the US system, a United States of Europe. It’s the only way they can survive.
Nothing really gets fixed until we fix the above. It's mentioned numerous times in the scriptures: If you turn your back to God, your country will be invaded and these invaders will take you home, lands, your wife, and your children.
Lol...I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not.
It would work if they were willing. They really don’t have a chance emulating us though because the will isn’t there. World War 2 didn’t really save Europe because their political systems are inadequate to inspire their populations to action or to harness the ingenuity of the individual citizen.

Yes! You nailed it! What did Alexis de Toqueville say?
“.... Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.”
We are seeing that happen before our eyes.
He also said “Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.” (Democracy in America)

Se-cesh!
The Danes want to secede from the Union. Sound familiar?
I wonder if they will join with other se-cesh countries and form a confederacy.
I hope Europeans get out from under that globalist, Marxist dictatorship wannabe. It’s dangerous.
