On December 3 Breitbart News spoke with Republican presidential hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% about the Democrats’ attempts to use the San Bernardino attack as an impetus for gun control and his counter position that the attack actually shows why now, more than ever, the Second Amendment must be defended and the American people must be armed.
Cruz said:
Unfortunately, the goal of both President Obama and Hillary Clinton, is to consistently–at every turn–to look to weaken the constitutional rights of American citizens. And in particular, to undermine our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. You don’t get rid of the bad guys by getting rid of our guns. You get rid of the bad guys by using our guns. And, rather than respond to radical Islam and terrorism with a commitment from the president to keep this nation safe–to kill the terrorists–instead, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton refuse to even utter the words “radical Islamic terrorism.â€
At a time of growing threats to our safety and security from radical Islamic terrorists, the right to keep and bear arms of law-abiding American citizens has never been more vital.
Cruz then honed in on the centrality of the right to self-defense and how the Democrat-led push for gun control at a time like this is actually a Democrat-led push against the citizens’ right to self-defend themselves in the growing threat of danger.
Cruz said:
The gun control push illustrates the misguided priorities of President Obama and Hillary Clinton. They refuse to stand up and do what is necessary to defeat radical Islamic terrorism, to defeat ISIS, to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Instead, they remain obsessed with disarming the American citizenry, of stripping us of our fundamental right to protect our homes .....(snip)

Too big and heavy. I bought a Ruger, 380, LCP (Lightweight Compact Pistol), semi auto today.
It weighs 11 ounces loaded with a full magazine and easily fits in your pants pocket without creating a bulge that anyone would recognize as a gun.
Oh, it was back last fall. Almost 600 people. I was interviewed for the local T.V. station and was on that night’s broadcast.
We met a lot of really fired up people and had a high energy good time. So much has happened since then, but I was thankful for the opportunity to met him.

For the life of me, how could the average person with a concealed carry have taken out even one of the shooters in San Bernardino? They were on a scorched earth mission and would have fired at anybody that moved (if there weren't particular targets they were after). There were 2 men who had gone to the rest room, and a couple bullets came whizzing through the wall and into the paper towel dispenser near where they were standing, thereby at least one got grazed or shrapnel in the face. They hit the floor, put their feet evidently to brace the door and waited for the police. Source: an LAT article today.
With some luck, a concealed carry or two or three might have had a good shot while the crazies were reloading, distracted. They were in and out in I read 30 seconds but that might not be accurate. But it was fast.
The above I meant 1 to 3 people, one concealed carry each. If they had any time to coordinate, they might have gained an advantage. Maybe an experienced shooter can think of a scenario where they could have used their concealed carry to the advantage of themselves and at least some of the victims.

Yea, ok. It takes me 1.2 seconds to draw and fire three rounds. They come in with AR, I shoot them. I don’t understand your confusion?
Why yes, SOME animals ARE more equal that others.
How about anyone whom wishes to carry can do so BUT they can only have a single frangible bullet in the caliber of their choice.
