Around 5-7pm, Adam Housley (Fox) said there are several disputes between agencies about the handling of the investigation.
1) If and when to call it terror. Said Washington has a very specific definition of “terror attack.” The definition has gotten considerably more narrow and specific during the last 7 years.
The talking head neglected to ask Housley what IS the current definition of “terror attack.” UGH!
And...so sorry... I forgot the other 2. I have it DVRed. If I can locate it, I will post & ping tomorrow.
It is possible (and likely) that the WH is so over-controlling the pressers that they edited out any new info that might have been intended for that presser.

The “on background” part is what CNN and others have been reporting as info from “sources” The computers have been either wiped or have integral parts missing and their two cell phones were found, smashed. This kind of info is being leaked, when normally it would be given at press conf. I’m guessing, but if the computers were cleaned BEFORE the attack it shows this was not just workplace violence, which negates the spontaneous theory that obama is trying to build.
It may not matter since the AG Lynch said yesterday this is a “wonderful opportunity “ to make changes.

Confuses the heck out of me. We were first told there were three killers. Then they were looking for three on the loose. Then we hear about the shootout with the two in the SUV, with a third maybe holed up in a church/house or somewhere else in the area.
Then as they're cleaning up the gore from the shootout (thank G-d it worked out the way it did, btw, and the one cop hurt wasn't hurt badly if we're to believe the reports) the story seems to morph into...
Okay, two killers down, let's roll 'em over and get a look at their faces... yeah, that's Farooq, and oh, look this one's a chick...
And now here we are. So, were the victims of the attack who managed to call in about it counting three instead of two when there were only two? Not that I blame them for it.
Or did a third killer really run over to the nearby church/house, and maybe out the back door, down the storm sewer or whatever, and...
So I can get that part of it, three or two, three or two? Cops are still trying to figure it out, three or two? Fair enough really, but... the dead dude isn't Farooq?
Catherine Herridge has always seemed to have her facts right before. If she's right she has just blown this story sky-high. If she's wrong she's gonna be embarrassed.
Also if she's right they need to "Open up the season" on uh, somebody's good buddy Farooq. Shoot him in the foot first.
