I never said that you said those things humble. You are either projecting or reading things into it all on your own.
I simply made statements, and I stand by them. If you agree with those statements, all the better.
I have also made it clear that I am not simply yelling, “Wall, wall!” And I am not saying you said I was...but you did make the statement in relation to my proposal, so if those words refer to me then they are misplaced and themselves, IMHO, simply rhetoric to try and make points.
I have worked with ranchers (which is an environment I was raised in) and farmers and agencies regarding land and water rights. I have seen...sometimes through standing firm against the agencies...solutions be developed as a result. I have no doubts whatsoever that the same could be done here along the Rio Grande.
So give the other a rest. I feel strongly that it HAS to happen if we are going to secure the border.
But the fence can be built along there and the illegal entry shut down, while at the same time satisfying both water and land rights. . It most certainly will take work to do that...but that need no stop us from doing so.
