Nobody is talking about giving anyone the river.

We can provide access, maintain rights, AND control the border too in stopping illegal swimmers/waders.

The fact is, we HAVE to control our border. We can work with land owners to do that.

I was raised in Texas on a ranch, so I do in fact know what I am talking about.

I have also worked for decades with water rights here in the west against rogues in the government and understand the water issues as well.

I am willing to bet you dollars to doughnuts that the VAST majority of them will be more than willing to work with the right administration to make it happen.

This can be made to work, and it can be done without destroying water or land rights. The fact is...there is a border, and it has to be controlled.

I don't recall where I disputed that. Please point it out.

What would walling off our side of it do?

Did you know there are International treaties regarding the use of the river?

Chanting "WALL!" just doesn't get it.
Yes, secure the border.. but don't chant Simple-Simon crap expecting that to work.
