One thing that Ted Cruz has done as a senator that Obama didn’t do is make himself a household name. When Obama started running for president most of us had never heard of him.

Correction: it’s not “liberal principles”, it’s “Bolshevik principles”.
The Left only used “liberalism” as a facade/tool to get their otherwise intolerable views accepted/tolerated by the population at large until they achieved a tacit majority support - then pivoted to full-on Bolshevism (socialist majority rule, Constitution & individual rights be d@mned).

Someday he may very well be our president, but not now, although I very much want him to be a major part of a Trump presidency.
LBJ fought hard against Kennedy, as Bush, Sr did against Reagan. Both were later tagged for VP.
Cruz, is by far the most qualified person for VP, in my opinion. I’m sorry, he is not better than Trump for the job.
Trump brings history of having lived in an America before Kennedy was killed. We are a different country now, but only the baby boomers know that first hand.
