In the wake of a mass shooting in San Bernardino that claimed the lives of at least 14 people on Wednesday, Gov. Jerry Brown canceled annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Capitol. Though the tree was still illuminated at 5 p.m., the evening ceremony did not take place, "out of respect for Californians affected by today's tragedy," Brown said in a statement.

BTW, the governor of my state is Kasich, and he ain’t much better.
We couldn’t possibly use it as moment of condolence and moral strength. Brown was probably happy as a pig in shit that he didn’t have to pretend he liked being around a Christian emblem.
This shooting sure got Moon Beam off the hook. He didn’t have to “offend” anyone by lighting the CHRISTMAS tree.
If it’s Brown, it’s Jerry.
With enough beer cans Governor Moonbeam could put up a hell of a Festivus pole. Have a cheap drunk, add some cheap LEDs while singing "Jingle Bells," and Moonbeam would do his bit for the Holidays.
