Donald Trump has become such a force in the Republican Party that the official overseeing next year's Senate races has proposed a delicate strategy for GOP candidates: tap into Trumpism without mimicking Trump.
In a seven-page, confidential memo that imagines Trump as the party's nominee, the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee urges candidates to adopt many of Trump's tactics, issues and approaches -- right down to adjusting the way they dress and how they use Twitter.
In the memo on the "Trump phenomenon," NRSC executive director Ward Baker said Republicans should embrace his tough talk about China and "grab onto the best elements of [his] anti-Washington populist agenda." Above all, they should appeal to voters as genuine and beyond the influence of special interests.

No one can deny that Trump has been an amazing change agent for the Nation as a whole and for the political arena!
LOL...looks like Cruz got his copy of this *mimick Trump* memo. He’s off to an early start!
:)
In other words:
“The most important thing is sincerity. If you can fake that, you’ve got it made”
Just remember, all these Republican Senators up for election are lying pieces of dog sh!t.
Adopting Trump issues is a ruse.
Their votes and non-votes will not change at all.
I’m not sure who would be faking.
Trump is for real. There is no faking in him. He is who he is. To me, that’s genuine whether people like him or not.
The candidates following Trump would not be sincere. But

Trump is Trump and he's popular because he's being true to who he is. Dumb Washington impersonators aren't going to fool anyone and will look like jackasses if they try. Good grief, adjusting the way they dress!!! If you agree with Trump's positions just come out and say you do and if elected you'll support him but we don't need a bunch of Trump Mini-Me's running around looking ridiculous.
I never fail to marvel at the stupidity of the GOP Washington class. They're hopeless!
Too right!
Unfortunately, some ignorant folks choose to cheerlead for him in a very off-putting way.
This does him no favors.
He has been but how stupid is it to tell candidates to dress like him? How about you tell candidates to be HONEST and UN-PC. That's Donald's charm!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Let's hope it includes using his tailor.
A picture of Jeb with Trump hair would be appropriate about now in this thread.
When I say ‘you’ in my previous post I’m referring to political consultants, not YOU, you. You know?
Amen! The imitators won’t be genuine/sincere. I see a few already trying to be like Trump. What does that say about them?
My point exactly!
Now you did it!!! I’m going to be going all day with this picture in my head....LOLOL.....
Proverbs 14:7...
“Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.”
Woo Hoo! GO TRUMP!!!
Okay.
Fake authenticity like your career depends on it.
