Oh, I don’t think you quite got my meaning. Just saying I know people who got busted for minor things in high school and have turned it into a lifelong hatred of cops, rather than just admit they were “stupid that one time.” :-)

Drama indeed. Listening for hours. Suddenly hear gunshots, calls for medics, and soon after “he’s still breathing in the back seat, AR strapped to his chest”. Among other chaos. Yow.
