A group of students at Hamilton College, known only as The Movement, has given new meaning to the expression “everything but the kitchen sink†in a list of demands—“Demands by Hamilton College,†no less—sent to the college’s president.
Limiting freedom of speech; discouraging white faculty from leading departments; hiring of financial advisers to solely work with students of color; allocating student government seats specifically for “marginalized and underrepresented groups;†and erecting a statue in honor of the Oneida Native Americans are all among the demands.

The comparison to China's situation is apt. Mao called out the Red Guards as street agitators, to keep opponents off balance, to terrorize what was left of civil society as he tried to change it, and to engage in his fantasy of "permanent revolution."
Do NOT doubt that #BLM, Occupy, etc... have rec'd some direction from the White House as well as government funding. They are acting on the most salient points of Obama's ideology. In turn these movements know that they have sympathy and support at the DOJ and White House, so they know local authorities will treat them with kid gloves. This will last until January 2017. Some activists will view this as a real revolution, so on their own will go beyond anything planned or will go on their own loopy quests, also as we saw in China - until the Chinese Army decided they had seen enough and started to shoot them.
There’s your future America.

You are absolutely correct. And I frankly think there is even more to it. There is no doubt in my mind that mass shootings can be fomented too.

I suspect that we will see - as trends develop in the future - that these campus incidents and protests peak right around the campus "drop date," that is the date after which you can no longer drop a course you know you are going to fail.

Only one answer the President/Board of College can reply with.

Alums must withhold funding from these institutions of lower-morals until the faculty restores sanity.
