Jeb Bush and his allies are spending circles around his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination. Yet for all the money they've invested - $26 million on television ads alone - they've yet to see a substantial return.
Having fallen from summer front-runner to autumn afterthought, the former Florida governor made deep spending cuts to his campaign operation in October. But he and his backers plowed ahead with a television blitz three times the size of anyone else's, while putting a new strategic focus on New Hampshire.

Fleecing GOP donors is my middle name!
The Mike Murphy math challenge — how many different fees can you come up with to take out of the $27 million advertising budget before a dime is actually spent on the advertisement?
Not so! Yeb has doubled his voters since the ads began. You’d have to rent a full-sized sedan to fit them all in now.
Bush’s campaign has been blanketing the airwaves here in Illinois for the last month, ad nauseum. I hate his Ads, they stink. I am so sick of seeing them that even if I was a Bush fan (I never have been), I’d hate him just for the frequency of his Ads. The more he advertises, I suspect the more people dislike him. No more Bushes, ever. Their dynasty is done, finis.
Gee, all that money spent to convince Americans that Yeb! is the one to give away the country and abandon the rule of law.
Stand up straight, Jeb
You know all the leeches in the Dauphin campaign will throw the Dauphin under the bus to try to deflect blame from themselves for this debacle.
For Jeb Bush donors.....
TV advertising is old technology.
It doesn’t move many voters.
In 2012, Mittens blanketed the airwaves until Election Day with a wall to wall TV ad campaign in Colorado.
He lost the state by five percentage points.
Jeb has learned nothing from that debacle.
The only people who still watch traditional television in large numbers - ads and all - on a given channel at a set time are the older folks who simply don't know any better. They probably still have a rotary phone on a doily in the hallway on a small wooden table and still subscribe to TV Guide - the print version. These are the people who need to call up their grandchildren if they accidently turn off the cable box and have trouble changing the station with their newfangled "ree-mote control".
So these are the people that Jebbie's millions of dollars in TV ads are targeting. They are going to be lucky to get out of the house on Election night to vote. Most likely, they will be picked up in a van, taken to a gymnasium with folding table setup with milk and cookies, and handed a "voting guide" that suggests a straight Democratic ticket and urged to vote that way if they want to keep their social security.
Rubio second with $10.8 million to promote his amnesty loving relationship with upchuck Schumer. Let’s see here down at the bottom on TV “spending” Ahhh. There it is !! Trump ZERO!!
“Stand up straight, Jeb”
That is so funny. My wife is convinced his poor posture is a sign of weakness and he will lose because of his poor posture.
