Her endless trips to Japan and Europe to negotiate for big companies to settle their US plants in Michigan yielded absolutely NOTHING.
But, she did come up with a great idea. Naming certain places COOL CITIES. Yea, right, that’s gonna fix everything.
She’s actually a naturalized US citizen, originally from Canada. Explains a lot.
There used to be an old, somewhat long, joke with the punchline: “We can take a Canadian, put her into the Governors office and have the entire state looking for work two weeks later”
