"During the 2015 Juneau mayoral race, Fisk stated that he supports raising the minimum wage. Fisk voted to legalize recreational use of marijuana in Alaska. Fisk also supported enacting a ban on discrimination against the LGBT community in housing and other public accommodation, and stated that he believes human activity is contributing to global warming."Friend of Bill and Hillary?

He was elderly so perhaps a fall due to a medical condition.
Or, (conspiracy) the son done him in.

Juneau is like a lot of state capitals, which are run by liberals. I lived there for 25 years.

Most likely; autopsy results may tell the story.

It's hard to get to Juneau as it's way down there on the panhandle. Cold, cloudy and wet place. Seattle type weather except snowier. Inaccessible by car (unless you take a ferry). Rugged mountains all around. Boat and plane are the only ways in and out. Large city though in terms of geographical size - the area of the city is larger than Rhode Island.

I'd like to believe Juneau was somehow sunnier when Palin was in the Governor's office...

As a former resident, you know the topography. I had always understood that it sits in a flat harbor area surrounded by mountains and is one of the most avalanche risk rated area in the world. That something the locals just live with?

Could have been an impostor while the real person was over at the new mayors place getting his revenge. I expect the impostor will be knocked off to cover up. The detective always gets the killer after that.

A few neighborhoods in downtown Juneau are definitely in avalanche zones - not the whole city, though. Check out some web photos - on a sunny spring day it is a beautiful place.

Ahhh, the Lucky Lady on South Franklin Street. They used to be open maybe 22 hours a day - been there at 5 AM myself a few times. Decent Irish stew on St. Patrick’s Day.
