Yeah, a few myths. She was secretary of the NAACP chapter (I think) and took the place of another volunteer who had a “slutty” reputation. So, it wasn't impromptu. She was in the black area of the bus but needed to move because white people were getting on board. So what? She changed the course of history.

There were three sections. The one she was in was the section where a black person could sit but had to get up if a white person wanted the seat.
