At the time of Dear Sr’s death,(2004,iirc) Jr lived in NC.
After Dear surrendered there was a Chase employee (bank Pres?) who wanted to come to the scene and talk with LE. It was said he needed to show LE a “hatch”. This was on the scanner and the officer answered No, he couldn’t see him at that moment and to ‘keep him up there’.
So what did that Chase employee want to show him and what is a “hatch”? This was immediately after LE snagged Dear.
This is nagging at me. Anyone else recall this chatter?
