"Over half of the statehouses are controlled by Republicans. Why aren’t Republican governors and state legislatures demanding accountability from administrators, professors and staff at state funded colleges and universities. They have the ability to fire state employees."

The power might be with the schools Board of Regents. We had 2 Conservatives run here in MI to get on the Board of U of M, I know one got on I am not sure if the other one did. That seems to be the place to begin to bring sanity to these failing ( IMHO ) institutions. Now where is the freakin' RNC on this? Why aren't they looking for candidates to fill these slots? Is that crickets I hear?.....

Fortunately here in Michigan we’re doing away with straight ticket voting and people are going to have to start looking at their ballots again.

Currently if you vote straight ticket, races with more than one republican running are counted as a “no vote”.

The democrats are screaming bloody murder over the loss of straight ticket voting. They know that a sizable number of their voters are too lazy or stupid to vote beyond a couple of the top races.

In many southern states the state University boards are appointed by the governor or the legislature. GOP governors and legislatures in those states should be putting people on the boards who will hold the administrators accountable and fire those who are politicized.
