On the old TV show “Justified” the crook would bomb one place, and when everyone heads over to the bombing, he goes and robs the bank!
hmm...now that’s a thought.
I wish we had a time-line of events. The only bank chatter I heard (that I remember) was about people hiding out in the bank and later a banker wanting to speak with LE about opening a hatch. No idea what that meant. This was all on the scanner.
