I understand your point, and being from the area you’d know more than I would. At the same time, he’s a crazed man and he happens to USE Christianity, anti-gay and pro-life ideas as his justification. So, when the media, noted for their shallow views, looks at him, he’s associated with us. We know it’s a false comparison, but it’s part of the lore around him.
