Those that put disabled people in a special class, beyond criticism or ridicule, are actually the ones who are disrespectful. Their condescension treats them as if they were helpless children that need protection. I'm pretty sure that most disabled people can handle themselves quite well and resent being tagged as victims that need constant cuddling and protection.
If we are ever going to progress as a society, we need to stop walking on eggshells and dispense with this political correctness. Those in the "protected classes" who are always looking to be the victim need to man up and stop being so perpetually offended all the time. By they way, I mean "man up" in a gender neutral way as it applies to females as well.
Grow a thicker skin you all. Life is tough and it's even tougher on those who allow themselves to be manipulated by others.

Trump has never met Kovaleski or had knowledge his disability. For your argument to hold water, Trump would have had seen this reporter making the statement that he doesn’t remember 9/11 cheering by Muslims in NJ.

Trump was doing what he has done in at least a dozen speeches I have watched prior to the speech in question.
I have seen it with my own eyes. Haven’t you seen it in the speeches of his you have watched?
He ALWAYS does the spastic schtick with the droopy, dopey face, to ridicule the political and media elite.
Trump critics really ought to start familiarizing themselves with Trump before they jump on the leftist bandwagon.
I have to say that I think it is obvious that he was mocking the guy’s disability, but I think that it is just part of his assault on political correctness. I think that Trump is trying to demonstrate that people who object to making fun of people with disabilities are just being too sensitive.
