Israel is considering the possibility of transferring land from Area C, which is under complete Israeli control in accordance with the Oslo Accords, to the Palestinian Authority, Channel 2 News reported on Tuesday.
Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel later made clear that if Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu goes through with the plan, he will not have a coalition. ...

I favor Israel saying to the world, “Buzz off, it’s our land.” There is no pleasing these people anyway. They will take what they get for “peace” and then continue to terrorize and ask for more.
Israel surely knows by now that she cannot trade land for peace. Trade peace for peace and land for land. Do not mix.
There is no answer when what they all really want is for Israel to be annihilated.
Giving up land for a peace that will never happen will be seen as a sign of weakness by the Arabs.
As soon as possible they would increase the terrorism leading to more Israeli deaths.
You nailed it.
I believe in trading land for breaches of the peace. Any attack should be answered by permanently annexing the land from which the attack was launched. Remove the residents (compensating any innocents for their loss) and fence it in as Israeli territory.
Or alternatively just move the fence east a few feet in response to any attack.
If the arabs don’t want to lose their land, then keep the peace.
The article says the area is some 10,000 dunams. One dunam is about a quarter of an acre, so about 2,500 acres or roughly 4 square miles are in question.

I have often in the past suggested that Israel simply draw her borders, annex what parts of Judea and Samaria they wish to keep, what they need for security, and let the palestinians have their demilitarized state in the rest. Area C is essentially land that will be "bartered" in said, nonexistent peace agreement. In that context, I think this could make sense. See the thriving state they build, the Euros will help them, and the future will take care of itself.
