The chief rabbi of Belgium had some startling comments for the future of Jews in Europe.
Amid a terror crackdown in Brussels, where police arrested at least 16 terrorists, and after an attack in Paris that took the lives of 130 people, Rabbi Avraham Gigi said:
"There is a sense of fear in the streets, the Belgians understand that they too are targets of terror. Jews now pray in their homes [as opposed to at synagogues] and some of them are planning on emigrating," Gigi said. "Since Shabbat the city has been paralyzed. The synagogues were closed, something which has not happened since World War Two. People are praying alone or are holding small minyanim [small prayer groups] at private homes. Schools and theaters are closed as are most large stores and public events are not permitted. We live in fear and wait for instructions from the police or the government," he said.
The rabbi said he understands why people want to make aliyah to Israel:
"I think making aliya to Israel is an important thing for every Jew," Gigi said. "It is something that Jews in every generation yearned for. But Jews should not make aliya out of fear because this will result in a poor absorption experience as a feeling that something was left behind will always remain. People should make aliya out of a love for Israel," the rabbi said.
Agreed. But if necessary then Jews making Aliya to Israel out of fear is still infinitely preferable to being murdered by the growing invasion of blood-thirsty islamonazis into Europe (or USA or elsewhere). At least in Israel they have a strong defense against the Moslem Satanic legions
Its the right time for Israel’s PM Netanyahu to hire El Al to go and get the half million Jews out of Europe. Send them some cargo ships for their stuff.
Resettle them in Judea and Sumeria.
Let Europe suffer the talent and brain drain, they have not treated their Jewish citizens right even though Jews for the most part are non violent productive people who want to assimilate.
I am neither Jewish nor European but I can sense the tension. It is the craziest thing. Makes no sense at all.
“Makes no sense at all.”
Satan roams the world like a ravening lion, seeking whom he may devour. Always has.
Make sense now?
Well what did they expect, importing millions of Jew-hating maniacs?
I would almost think to offer them a home here but they have a funny way of voting for the people who hate them the most.
muslims do not and cannot assimilate with non-believers. The Koran and other teachings, commandments, forbid them to befriend non-believers (infidels and Jews).
Yes, it does. Paris... City of Light. Not for much longer.
When a culture or nation chooses to become enveloped in darkness, it attacks the light. Light is a witness to truth, freedom and the reality of the Creator who orders nature and history. Thus the Jews become enemy number one. It matters not how liberal or how secular or even how religious they are. They exist. No greater witness to who is the ultimate authority in the heavenlies and on earth.
These recent attacks tell us that the work of the Jewish people is about done there. God is removing their light from the nations and taking it back to the Land of Israel.
It also is a clear message to the "Shining City on the Hill". The pattern is unmistakeable. The writing is on the wall. Even says so right there in that very passage:
Daniel 5
17. Then Daniel answered and said to the king, Let your gifts be to yourself, and give your rewards to another; yet I will read the writing to the king, and make known to him its meaning:
18. O you king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar, your father, a kingdom, and greatness, and glory, and majesty:
19. And because of the majesty that he gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him; whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he raised up; and whom he would he put down:
20. But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him:
21. And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses; they fed him with grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; until he learned that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appoints over it whom he will:
22. And you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this:
23. But have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and the utensils of his house have been brought before you, and you, and your lords, your wives, and your concubines, have drunk wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver, and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know; and the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways, have you not glorified:
24. Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written:
25. And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, and PARSIN:
26. This is the meaning of the matter; MENE; God has numbered your kingdom, and brought it to an end:
27. TEKEL; You are weighed in the balances, and are found wanting:
28. PERES; Your kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians:

Daniel didn't need to go home and pray for an interpretation, as he had *already* seen the writing on the wall. Belshazzar, OTOH...
About that City on the Hill, the "New Jerusalem",
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Daniel was only a prophet to the Gentile world ruler(s).
and this writing was written And this is the writing that was written
Let him that readeth understand.
Americans are already seeing doctors flee [their practices] due to Obamacare (Pharaohcare for Hebrew slaves). How many are Jews, now with a great incentive to make aliyah? How many Jews will follow, also "heading for the hills", before the remnant of the American People finally get a clue?
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
When I say it makes no sense, I mean no logical sense, not necessarily that it has no crazy explanation (crazy in terms of the perspective of the many who hate Jews).
“Its the right time for Israelâs PM Netanyahu to hire El Al to go and get the half million Jews out of Europe.”
I agree. Israel did that with the Ethiopian Jews, it is the LEAST they can do for the European Jews that had the courage to try to stay and keep it habitable to Jews.
That’s what is strange. Their hatred seems perfectly logical!
A paradox I suppose, but a lot of things about life these days has been flipped upside down.
I’ve actually been wondering if other people here are having experiences [on a personal level] that parallel the world’s upside-down knowledge-turned-on-its-head type condition.
No joking... there’s some major upheaval in the spiritual realm that pegs the weirdsh*t-o-meter darned near every day. Just not the normal twists and turns. I sense a rectification process going on. As if everything is about to be set straight on every level of human existence, only there’s quite a bit of a mess to be made first.
I sense it too; this is something that to me, is a sign of a new era. We’re living in a time of historical change. Kind of like the Renaissance or beginning of the Middle Ages, depending on what happens.
Pretty much prophesied. They will keep regathering to the land.
Not that it excuses the evildoers. They will be rewarded for their hatred by the God of Israel.

Having read the articl ( I know, against FR rules) the Rabbi didn’t appear to say that there was no future for Jews in Europe. Now I would agree with those sentiments if he expressed them, but did he actually say that?
Yes. To quote an old movie: the karma is so thick in here, you need an aqualung to breathe!
Thank you for your post on Daniel. Rev 3:16 comes to mind.
:-)
"There are 25,000 Jews in Brussels, 18,000 in Antwerp and the rest live in smaller places. There has been aliya to Israel as well as emigration to Canada and the US. People understand there is no future for Jews in Europe," he said.
Thanks for the link. I read the article. He’s probably right and that is a horrible thing for Europe. Spurning God’s chosen people is never a good idea.
