He is good looking for a politician and he speaks very very well. He’s easy on the ears. In fact, that’s the one thing that Cruz really lacks...he’s hard on the ears. His voice is very whiny and pitchy. If he had Rubio’s voice he would be polling better.

The same was said about another president who excelled at debates, Lincoln. (I know, he didn’t have to face the mass media, but he still had to persuade those around him with his intellect and voice).
