Um, flying into Turkey's airspace multiple times was a "planned provocation."

Shh, you're ruining the whole narration about how Turkey defending its airspace from armed foreign powers is somehow odd or unusual.

There's actually a pretty simple solution: Keep your armed aircraft out of Turkey's airspace, or if you start to stray, actually listen to the guard channel where flight controllers are warning that you will be shot down if you continue.

Do a google search on the U.S. being accused of violating air space. Do you want our planes shot down when it happens. The Cold War dreamers make it sound like such an unusual and provocative thing to slightly clip air space. It is neither. The countries squawk and that is it. There was no threat. Turkey is steeped in the Syrian civil war and they just used the air space violation as cover for an offensive move against Russia.

Have you seen this. You know combat planes travel very fast right? From Turkey's view, Russian plane were only in their territory for 17seconds, no where near enough time to give them multiple warnings. You seriously think that warrant a death sentence? The proper protocol was the escort them out
