Nothing more than selective outrage.
Still waiting for the protests over the shooting of Johnyla Watkins, the black infant who was killed by a gangbanger while having her diaper changed by her gangbanger father (the intended target). Not a peep from any of the usual suspects.
Yeah, but the "selective" part is based on the government doing the killing. Different gang-bangers get different reactions. When it the thugs with pants down do the killing, it's part of the "normal" daily violence. When the thugs with government uniforms do the killing, it's different.
Protesters know this even if they can't put it into words. They're aware that one killing by a cop is a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of black on black murders, but they don't know how to make things better.
The dream is that somehow 'the white man' will step in and solve the problem. "Marching" worked in the 60's but it's not the answer for our time... There are answers... good people can figure this one out.
