"desire to see MB or ISIS taking over the ME"

I agree w/ that, but the problem is that the Russians are supporting Assad who is the enemy of both those disgusting groups.

Obama's tacit support for the islamists is a direct confrontation w/ Russia, and he, Obama, has no idea how dangerous this is.

What's Obama going to do if the 50 or 500 or whatever special forces guys he sent in there get blown up?

Turn tail and run? That's my guess but that will only embolden Putin who doesn't need any additional evidence that that Obama is a spineless poser.

This was the hind end of the 'Arab Spring' MB operation which destabilized governments across North Africa and tried to get Syria, too. Syria was having what amounts to a civil war, and that should have remained an internal matter. Egypt, of the nations destabilized, ousted the MB plant and made their own decisions. Obama is doing what liberals do--he's doubling down, and Assad is hanging on to power even if it means dancing with the Devil. With Obie's agenda and Assad's determination, the involvement of Turkey in NATO and Russia aligned with Assad, this has the makings of a prelude to WWIII.

We have no business in the whole mess, and it is only the Islamist Agenda of the guy in the White Hut and his fellow travelers that is getting us there. By setting the two great western powers (both predominantly at least tacitly Christian) against each other, the Islamists gain.
