Both sides need to stop...
Fair enough?
Speaking for myself, I have NEVER gone into a discussion about Ted Cruz and said one negative word about him. I supported Cruz before Trump even entered the race. Having said that, I DO support Trump as well, because the reality cannot be denied: Trump is leading the pack, his support transcends party lines, and if Cruz is enough of a gentleman not to be attacking and trashing Trump as many of Cruz's supporters do, they should straighten up and follow his example, simple as that.
My comment towards the beginning of this thread was noting that while James Woods is a fine actor who happens to be a conservative and is endorsing Ted Cruz, that other true conservatives (the example I used was Virgil Goode) have come out and endorsed Donald Trump. What that demonstrates is that BOTH candidates obviously have more than sufficient conservative blood within them, to warrant such endorsements from other conservatives, be they in the entertainment world, the political domain, or any other area.
I understand the frustration, it is disturbing to see someone with a grip on the Constitution and an understanding of the problems facing our Nation as Cruz does, remain in single digits (although he does seem to be surging in Iowa and that's good). Trump does not suffer from that problem of low poll numbers and low support.
As our Esteemed Founder has said, "it's Trump or Cruz, all the others are amnesty pimps" and if that's good enough for JimRob, it damn sure is good enough for me.

I agree that Ted Cruz if the best candidate, but the most energy is in the Trump camp, and a Trump/Cuz ticket would win in a landslide - for 16 years of conservatism in The White House.
And Trump would have huge coat tails. More GOP would be elected if it was Trump -vs- HilLIARy. Trump would win that race by 70/30
Cruz against HilLIARy is a 50-50 risk. He is a great conservative but does not have the energy Trump is bringing.

Thank you for staying on the straight and narrow.
It’s time for everyone to exercise personal restraint and personal control.
