Revere Superintendent Dianne Kelly says the district believes in freedom of speech, but cannot support what she calls insensitive language. "If you're going to stand up and say something that other people will find offensive- than you need to be prepare to deal with the ramifications of that," Kelly said.

A very odd application of logic.

She says she 'believes in freedom of speech'. Yet she also says that she does not support it.

Then she basically says that you 'if you do the crime, you do the time'... In other words, the Cheerleader's exercise of her First Amendment Rights (Freedom of Speech) was a crime in the eyes of the Superintendent - who is the sole arbiter of what constitutes 'acceptable speech'.
So 'Freedom of Speech' becomes what the Superintendent deems it to be.

Everything that comes before the word “but” is a lie.
