our Israelis have been injured in a car attack at Tapuach junction, along Route 60 in Samaria, just after 8:20 am Tuesday.

Initial reports indicate that the terrorist arrived at a bus stop at the popular junction and began ramming his car into as many Israelis he could see.
IDF and security forces neutralized the terrorist on-site.
Magen David Adom (MDA) reports that four people - among them two IDF soldiers and a Border Policeman, all in their twenties - are suffering from light injuries; all are fully conscious. Two are ranking officers: a Lieutenant Colonel and a Colonel.
One is suffering from injuries to his head and stomach; the other three are suffering light injuries to their limbs. They were transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva for treatment.
"The political echelon cannot abandon us," Samaria Regional council chief Yossi Dagan stated in the attack's wake. "I emphasize: they have even abandoned the security of [not only] civilians, but soldiers."
"There is clear escalation here from Palestinian Authority terrorists, and there should and must be an escalation from the State of Israel in a clear response against them."
Dagan noted that these attacks have multiplied at junctions across the country, including not only Tapuach, but also the Gush Etzion junction.
"There are major intersections in which daily attacks are unfolding, exactly the same way every time, and we must hurt the Palestinians' freedom of movement. We must not let these hostile elements enter our borders."
...."Jewish blood is being spilled here every day - we must stop the murders, even if the price is some unpleasantness with Europe."
