Wearing full military gear and wielding high-powered rifles, Delaware state police broke into a home Friday, shooting and killing a dog who was running from them in fear.
The entry was captured on Mark Reedyâs security camera, who says police were looking for guns, but the shooting takes place off-frame.
The video shows the dog running up to the door as they are trying to break in, yelling âstate police ⦠search warrant.â
The dog is barking and itâs tail is wagging but as soon as it sees a giant shield enter the home with a gun pointing from behind it, the dog runs away.
Then at least ten cops enter the home, pointing weapons and yelling about a search warrant.

Good cops do exist. Here’s my story. I hit a deer, it was still alive. A fellow motorist phoned the cops, asked what to do. The cop said shoot the deer and have the driver report back to the station.
I hauled out my 40 caliber and wasted the deer on a US Highway.
I reported to the station. The cop met me at the door and wanted my drivers license and registration. The license was in my wallet in a cardboard box on the passenger seat. I asked him to shine his flashlight in there so I could find it.
As I rummaged through this box, my loaded 40 caliber along with a loaded 357 were really obvious.
The cop just did not care about the guns.
This happened in western ND in 2007. Had this happened in the NE states I’d still be in jail.
Ten bad dogs out of a hundred thousand and that is what you haters hang your hat on.
Pathetic. You people who had a friend’s cousin’s sister’s maids dog people are jokes.
In the past the killer dogs were German Shepards and Dobermans, now it is pits. Time changes ignorance doesn’t.
I have REAL experience with pits unlike you poodle people so I know anything you post is crap.
I also have a Corgi, coon hound and two min-pins.
Does that round out my personality any silly girl?
Different breed of dogs are bred for different traits. Shepards are bred to herd animals, retrievers are bred to fetch, pitbulls are bred to kill. And when they do attack they are much harder to stop than a Shepard or a dobbie. Just a fact. You know nothing about me and your personal insults can’t change the facts.
I try to raise people's consciousness about the way the word "felon" gets tossed about, in order to cast any member of the peasantry in an immediate bad light.
Many of our Elite Masters are SERIOUS felons. They just don't get prosecuted by the purposeful Mr. Magoo DOJ attack dogs.
I also found it very odd that he says the cops tried to open his gun safe with a screwdriver then left it unopened. Does that make any sense? They could have called in a locksmith to drill it open if they had a warrant. What's the point in the warrant if they don't open the safe?
Good point. Very odd.
Boy, you don't wanna be a cat around a Corgi...
Your ignorance is showing. The "nurse dog" was not bred to kill.
Is there anyway possible you could possibly do some research instead of just posting more uninformed crap wee lassie?
Then they couldn’t play with all their neat toys and play jack-booted thugs against the common citizen.
Nice job of contradicting yourself on both ends of a single statement.
If you would have simply STFU (and spared everyone the anecdotal BS) you wouldn't have made an idiot of yourself.
I can't say for your experience. Mine, however includes a large and growing group of people who were treated like Public Enemy No. 1 on a routine traffic stop, who had no previous interactions with police.
When people who have done nothing more serious than 5 mph over the limit start getting treated as if they are fleeing a mass murder, the police aren't winning friends.
That said, most of the policemen I have met in 40+ years of driving and in other venues have been professional and courteous.
It is the exceptions (both good and bad but especially bad) who stand out in most people's minds and who make the news.
There are rules. We call those rules laws. Those laws are supposedly for everyone. Go by the rules and there is structure to the process. Don't go by the rules and mayhem can result.
Oh, and don't shoot the dog, he barks loud (that's his job), but he's a pussy cat.
For every criminal biker there are a hundred more good bikers.
Probably close to the same with most groups, but it is the bad apples who are held up for public viewing, and have made-for-teevee movies made about them.
My guess is that it is a Federal program. BATFE perfected the kitten dance long ago.
For real entertainment, consider that orgs like the BATFE and FBI and others are briefed on who bad guys are by outfits like the SPLC, who are considered 'experts', and you get an idea where the stuff that trickles down comes from.
I may be biased, but the ND Highway Patrol and some of the Sheriff's Departments have some of the most professional (and helpful) police officers I have seen.
“Probably close to the same with most groups, but it is the bad apples who are held up for public viewing, and have made-for-teevee movies made about them.”
The people who keep posting these anti-Cop threads have an agenda, just like the Black Lives Matter folks do. Coming from different places, but the end result is the same. Slamming the thin blue line. And it’s getting thinner everyday. You better hope you never need their help and it doesn’t come.
If organized patriotic people can be separated from and suspicious of other organized patriotic people, everyone will be too disorganized to present any serious opposition to those who are organizing the disorganization.
Considering that Fergusson, Tryavon, and possibly the incident over selling cigarettes (loosies), were either outright justifiable shoots or ones which did not get investigated without heavy political pressure for a specific outcome, and that the press fomented anger to the point where rioting was incited, both by the press and agitators on the ground, with Presidential approval (tacit or otherwise), I'd say the origins and the agenda are evident.
If the American people can be made suspicious of each other to the point they cannot cooperate against a common enemy, the enemy wins.
So, Cui bono?
The organizer, of course.
OMG that poor gentle dog. Fire these b___ds!
The Supreme Court has ruled numerous times that the police are under on obligation to protect you[the Citizen]. Their duty is to the State.
TURN THEM IN? They are cops. Their job not to mention moral obligation is to arrest them.
That is my question to any veteran cop. How many cops have you arrested in your career. If the answer is none, then they are trying to claim they never saw a cop break the law.
If maybe 5% of cop arrested other cops they saw breaking the law, the law breakers would quickly start having second thought on what they could get away with.
Because the police are ninja wannabes who donât give a tinkerâs damn about your so called rights.

That is why lists of addresses are maintained in some places........
I agree. This cop did nothing wrong in my opinion. He seen to it the animal was put down to stop suffering. He did no harm to my 2nd Amendment rights. He was just a common sense person.
The cop was with the Watford City PD, he was an American Indian. This county had a Black Sheriff. My point with the racial mix, is there just was no prejudice against this straight white Christian male.
The deer was hit a few miles south of Watford on US 85.
When I went to renew my concealed carry, this Sheriff simply invited me into his office, we had coffee and we just shot the breeze about stuff such our past military experiences. Then he just signed my request and I was on my way.
I also knew a Highway Patrol chick. We had a discussion about speeding. She said she knew the tanker trucks needed to get up speed going down a hill just to make it up over the next hill and cut slack accordingly. I don’t think you will find this in let’s say Maryland or Pennsylvania where my last recollections is they were merciless when it comes to tickets.
These were all “people” cops, they wanted to get along with those they serve and absolutely no power agendas.
