Many Christians have allowed the teachings of the Scriptures to become twisted in order to make them handy admonishment for anyone who refuses to “help” those who commit grave sins and evil to escape or mitigate the consequences of their actions. I can find no Scripture that instructs me to do that. We are taught to flee evil that we ourselves not be ensnared and to have no fellowship with those who practice unhealthy and unholy behavior. And yet, our education system is teaching our children to accept and even embrace such as normal and healthy, even in the face of so much proof to the contrary.

So true. I noticed "Judge not lest ye be judged yourself" in a Metallica song and realized that every heathen knows that verse. I started calling it heathen verse 101 and Christians who don't know the bible very well are beaten about the head and shoulders with it.

With the selling of baby parts I started considering the decades of debating my parents about EVERY SINGLE Democrat issue that they defend. Democrats are on the wrong side of the bible on EVERYTHING and 2John came to mind:

9 Whoever transgresses[d] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

And this from lovey dovey John ;-)

I've decided to avoid even being around Democrats anymore.

Easier said than done, but yes, I am doing the same thing...

“I’ve decided to avoid even being around Democrats anymore.”

The decision to avoid those who identify and practice the unholy is becoming increasingly difficult for the Christian in this day and time. I fully believe that such a time as this can be identified with Jesus’ saying that he who “hates” not his kin couldn’t follow Him. I don’t believe he meant “hate” in the literal sense, but simply the inability to turn away from loved ones and family when they insist on following evil practices. The misguided efforts of “do gooders” and family members to alleviate the consequences of abandoning Christian principles is not only making these problems worse in society but they are ignoring the responsibility to admonish and exhort for the purpose of saving souls. Most preachers and evangelists have followed this practice, leaving us with no one to tell us the truth about where all this (and we) will be going if we don’t heed the warnings, horrific though they may be, contained in The Word.
