Gowdy’s blistering response to Obama’s ‘widows and orphans’ jab hits a nerve

Congressman Trey Gowdy has had about all he can take of President Obama's divisive rhetoric, and he's not alone.

Gowdy, chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, is receiving a lot of praise for his opening statements during today's hearing meant to address the Syrian refugee crisis.

"The president says we are scared of widows and orphans," Gowdy said.

"With all due respect to him, what I'm really afraid of is a foreign policy that creates more widows and orphans."

At that point, Gowdy might as well of gotten up and walked out, but the class act congressman kept the pressure on. "So maybe where he ought to start is a foreign policy in the Middle East and Syria where people can go back to their homelands, which is their preference," Gowdy continued. Gowdy received mountains of accolades for representing the majority of concerned Americans.

People should be afraid of the Black Widows, and little children grow up to be terrorists. We already have a major problem with second generation Muslims.

During WW2, would we have accepted fleeing Nazi’s as refugees?

We weren't so welcoming to Jews, for that matter.

He said to the effect that restricting Syrian immigration would hurt our national security.
Wouldn’t want to make the muzzy mad laws no. It’s just like not naming names and calling them out just like the video excuse pass or Charlie Hebdo just desert talk. Our chewing gum chewer in chief is worser than embarrassment.
