No, William. One of the myriad of reasons of going into Iraq was the fly paper strategy (Gen. Sanchez). Go on the offensive to keep the Jihadists on their territory and fight them there. Now under Obama the terrorists are on the offensive and fighting us on our territory.

You still are contradicting your claim that there was “peace” in Iraq under Bush.

The “flypaper” justification for spending (or rather, borrowing) $1 trillion and losing 4500 American lives,to turn Iraq over to the Shiites (and make it an ally of Iran) is insanity. Most Americans recognize Bush’s Iraq War was a disaster. That’s a big reason his nobody is supporting his brother for president. And why Trump is leading - after he calls the Iraq invasion a disastrous idea. If Americans agree on nothing else, they seem to agree on “no more Bushes”
