St. Maarten is the Dutch half of the island...St. martin in the French side.
What, no option of throwing their lying criminal backsides in jail?
.........from what I could glean from talking to locals, it is un-controlled, inter-island immigration that is the root cause of the problem.
Two acquaintances of mine who were married, both white,in their early fifties, were hacked to death with machetes in their guarded condo less than a few hundred yards from me. The killers were caught. Both were black and were their Security Guards!
Speculation was that these brutal killers would only get about 7 years in prison and could get a lot less or go free. So, “rampant, out of control Liberalism”, French and Dutch style, is the REAL problem.
Another friend of mine had his 7 year old boy experience a knife to his throat and his cell phone robbed from him. Another was held up at gunpoint in the middle of a street.
Another problem is that the press down there will typically publish one or two brief articles and then that’s all you will hear without really digging. This crime is bad for business you see!
To a certainty, only the bad guys have guns in the Caribbean, including the cops.
Another lesson I learned was that Realtors and Appraisers tell you one story. The truth is that many condo’s that are for sale down there can be bought for half (or less) their listed or “appraised” price at auction.
I finally had enough and backed out of the deal I was working on and left. Took 2 months to get my own money out of my own checking account. Basically, banks down there these days use terrorism and tax laws to hold on to peoples money up until you start threatening lawsuit.
That’s tragic really
Sounds like Jackson Mississippi
My hometown
Similar collapse same demographic
Glad u escaped
yes, it is one of the most beautiful places on earth that Liberals have destroyed.
With some effective law enforcement and judicial support this could be a wonderful place to live your life which I planned to do. But, the Second Ammendment has not even been heard of down there and only the bad guys have one. You get one and get caught, your going to jail for a long time, particularly if you are a white male American.
