It wasn't mentioned because everyone who can count knew that if they got TPA passed TPP was in the bag.
Goldman wants TPP, Cruz wants to vote against it, sooooo, Cruz can now vote against it and still get a pat on the head from Goldman and all the others who benefit from US trade law being made anywhere except in the US.
NAFTA wasn't enough to wake people up so, it'll have to get worse before they do.
Whether that'll be too late to recover remains to be seen.
