John Bel Edwards (D) 57.93% 67634
David Vitter (R) 42.07% 49124
John Bel Edwards (D) 58.74% 89938
David Vitter (R) 41.26% 63187
John Bel Edwards (D) 58.35% 97411
David Vitter (R) 41.65% 69533
what % reporting do these #s represent?
97411 Edwards
69533 Vitter
My read is that there is a pile of early voters and a handful of complete precincts—the SOS page is saying 11 out of nearly 4000 reporting. Perhaps someone actually in Louisiiana can confirm.
Lt Gov Melvin L. "Kip" Holden (D) 43.29% 71756 "Billy" Nungesser (R) 56.71% 93998
11 of 3945 precincts reporting
Thanks ... had to believe LA would go back to D, but you never know.
I still don’t understand why that job would appeal to Vitter vs being a U.S. Senator (other than maybe as gov you are THE executive of the state vs. being 1 of 100 Senators who have to come to agreement thru compromise).
11 of 3945 precincts reporting
Yes—but the SOS page is showing a pile of votes for Parishes with no precincts reporting—where are these votes coming from?
Bel Edwards (D) 57.70% 126581
David Vitter (R) 42.30% 92813
That would be early voting I’d guess........
Seems like that would fire up the folks in LA to get out and vote for Vitter, because of this.
Vitter can then join the Trump plan to send them ALL back.
Go Vitter!!
I didn’t even know they were having their Gov election, today. I know Vitter has personal issues, and I don’t excuse him for a NY minute, nothing compares to the hell storm a Dem will cause.
That’s a good sign.
No they will blame Republicans for cheating like they did in Kentucky.
:(
Nungesser (R) Lt gov is doing good just about opposite of Gov race.
State stats as reported:
http://staticresults.sos.la.gov/11212015/11212015_Statewide.html
John Bel Edwards (D) 57.88% 130099
David Vitter (R) 42.12% 94674
21 Precincts complete, plus early voting, most likely. The absolute gap seems to be growing.
