I am a Democrat on paper. I get all the Democrat propaganda. The Sultan just sent me a Personal Letter with a photograph of him in a pensive pose and I will send the DNC a dollar. I do every four years. It keeps me on their mailing list. I would send it on my VISA which would cost them more to collect than they would get but I am afraid they would keep and use the number so I send a check. Around here, at least, the Democrats have better pre-election barbecues. I also have, in the past, been able to get a sense of who was actually the Democrat Candidate sometime before Super Tuesday. I saw Hussein coming before he was any more than an interesting blip because the Democrats hereabouts were talking about him and comparing him favorably to Mrs. Bill. The local mailouts reflected that.
