If college administrative seats are on your ballot VOTE IN THOSE RACES!

I think the problem with our Universities are basically an overall lowering of standards, allowing in people who do not belong in a college or University, the flooding of taxpayer funds into schools for “feel good” majors. For example when I enrolled in UCLA many years ago we were required to take two years of a foreign language, a certain number of units in the Social and Physical science, a year of American History and “Government” both Federal and State. I understand these requirements are no longer imposed.

“What’s wrong with our universities?”
**********************************************

They have become Marxist indoctrination centers.
Their purpose is not education, but indoctrination.
Everything is aimed at undermining our economic and cultural heritage.

My daughter’s first boyfriend is part of this non-sense at the University of Alabama.

He’s a nice kid and treats my daughter well, but then he is out protesting all this stupid stuff.

Both my daughter and him are on full tuition scholarships that are great for middle class smart kids. They are totally based on high school grades and test scored. Race or financial need are not a part of it.

The demands they are making will cost money. It will mean less scholarships.

At least my daughter says she doesn’t know where the money is going to come from.

They are also demanding the amount of faculty be raised to 10% black. My daughter is also questioning that because she wants quality professors.

My daughter goes from California to the South for college and she has surrounded herself with kids even more liberal. Ugh!

Creating leftist, coddled kids is part of the goal. It’s amusing they’re now eating their own, but it’s becoming apparent even this isn’t enough to wake-up the academic establishment. It’s going to get much worse before it gets better on university campuses.

“”We’re seeing universities all across this country with leftist, coddled kids - usually with trust funds ...”

He’s got that wrong - there’s few these days with trust funds. But there are millions that have grown up on free handouts, indoctrinated in public schools, and going to college on the taxpayers’ backs. Those are the majority of the lefty, coddled brats.
