We in the West continue to pretend that the violence committed by Muslims are all isolated events, whether it was Iran's holding hostages for over 400 days; the attack on the USS Cole; 9/11; the massacre at Charlie Hebdo; the slaugther at the French deli; the burnings and beheadings in the Middle East; Benghazi; the blowing up of the Russian jet; the recent blood-letting in Paris that left 129 dead.

Actually, I’ve always said we should bomb Medina first, because it’s the 2nd-most holy place to them. That way, they know we mean business, and we can still threaten their most holy place.

ISIS is actually on the record saying that if they were to capture Mecca, they would destroy the Ka'aba, the Black Stone, the pillar, the Well of Zamzam, and all the other holy places of Islamic traditions.
They consider these structures and places to be idols that detract from true monotheism.
If these were destroyed, and they could convince others they had nothing to do with it, it would work out great for them.
Unfortunately nobody capable, outside Israel, has the guts to do what needs to be done...so we won't see anything but more of the same.......until it's too late if it's not actually that now.

Oddly, there are several million non-converted non-Muslims in Saudi Arabia. ISIS is pretty cheesed off about that.
And they don't really want conversion that much.
Historically, they have preferred a minimum of conversions, because then they can charge the unbelievers' tax and live at leisure.

How about sticking to those who are actually taking up arms first?
Again, please explain - logically - why nuking a major city of an allied nation makes sense as either a long-term strategy or as an immediate tactical advantage.

The whole Muslim world would go into a frenzy that couldn't be controlled. And with so many Muslims in the US and Europe there would be complete chaos. imo.

Correct. The one saving grace we have is that Muslims spend more time fighting amongst each other than fighting against the Infidel, we should encourage such infighting at every opportunity.
Whole generations were never taught our own Constitution. They can’t understand. They don’t get the amazing experiment in freedom for all that our Founders got started. Every school child should know at 10 what Benjamin Franklin told the woman excitedly questioning him on the sort of government they were planning inside the hall that day.
“A republic, ma’am, if you can keep it.”
Every class of 5th graders should be exhorted to TRY AND KEEP IT their whole lives. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best in the world.
