In Israel right now the emotional spin on Arutz Sheva, a ‘conservative’ website, is that Pollard’s release will leave him unable to go to Israel (for five years apparently) and put him under other restrictions.

I read your emotions, too, but all the emotions divert from the fact that Israel (Netanyahu) and the Obama Administration have obviously cut a deal to make this happen.

We grassroots conservatives have been led to believe there’s a big feud going on between Israel, led by Bibi Netanyahu, and Barack Obama.

This story tells me there’s been some wheeling and dealing going on in the backroom and a more friendly relationship than we thought.

We're getting spun every which way. Spun that Pollard was being paroled (really? -- without opposition to that idea from people who knew what he did? -- so early? His sentence was life, not "until parole, unless we change our mind and stuff"), so this is no big deal and not a political back-room crab-dance.

But thanks for trying to make us despair and quit fighting the power.

What a load of Schmalz! We excoriate the Muslims over dual allegiance. Must be a Middle East tribal thing.
