I grew up in Whitehall. Went to Allentown Central Catholic. This is a disgrace. Although I wouldn’t even step into downtown allentown anymore. Horrible and dangerous. I guess they want it worse.
Sorry to hear that Naps. I feel like crying reading this story. I guess they’ll be shipping them to all the inner cities around the country which are generally located in blue states. I gotta get out of this area!
I grew up in Allentown in the 70’s and 80’s. There is a heavy population Syrians there. My sister’s best friends were Syrian, my neighbor at the time was Syrian, he fought in the Korean War. I had a Syrian girlfriend in high school. The Syrian Christian Church is right next to my Dad’s Ukrainian Church. Our family eats Syrian food all the time. But I never knew a Muslim growing up, all Christian or non-religious. I see Samir Georges point of view and I agree with it. As RWC says, we need to hit our knees.
