When you boil all this down, and I have attempted to do that.
There is really nothing going on here that has not occurred in the Muslim world many times in the past.
The difference today is social media, and the presence of State actors, The US, Russia, Iran and to a lesser degree the Saudis, French, etal.
The various State actors are exploiting ISIS for their own ends, and those ends vary from proxy warfare, to attempts to increase their sphere of influence globally. to domestic politics in their respective countries.
Thus, the frustration that nobody seems to be trying to destroy them in any effective way.
I read through it. Pretty simple really, just kill all of the Quraysh. Leaving even one alive will restart the cancer somewhere later. Hunt them all down and kill all of them.
They want the same things Muhammad did. For the most part, they’re under-educated ignorant people that don’t have much. They don’t like seeing others have it so they want to take it from them. They want the “worldly” things others have and want to take it by any means necessary. They are outright evil.

The article says that ISIS really does want to return life to the glorious 7th Century. Instead of stuff, they want extreme Sharia.
Interesting, though, that Koran says to kill not just apostates but anyone who disagrees with another on Muslim doctrine (e.g, Shiite vs. Sunni). Christians, however, are allowed to remain alive, providing they toe the line and pay their tax to the Imams.
