Yep—part of the great conservative wish to throw off the yoke of the “racism” charge. Has led to the irrational support of Powell, Cain, West, and Carson for high office as well.

The same people who wanted Colin Powell to run, and most likely the same crowd that are diehard Cane and Carson supporters. There’s a pattern here.
