How many hours are involved in making a complicated gif?

It depends...

Some of them, such as the ones extracted from YouTube videos are easy, like the one with Hillary drinking, then faceplanting.

For this one, the only work I had to do editing was the last slide, where I created an Absolut bottle with Hillary's picture and pasted in the photo of Hillary with a broken arm.

To make that one, I found the corresponding YouTube videos, converted the segment I wanted to a GIF using any one of a variety of online tools like:

• MakeAGif
• Giphy
• GIFLike

Then, you just bring them into The Gimp (A free image editor). Edit the layers, then save it as an animated GIF. There are tutorials online that show how to do it.

Others, are more complicated!
Like this one:

First, I had to go through each slide and put a round TRUMP poster into the sign. Then I had to go back and put Hillary's face on the face of the guy who punched the sign. A LOT more work. That one took several hours, but is one of my favorites!
