To buy a ticket, yes. But suppose he had a fake ID already? I would imagine they’re fairly easy to buy, and if he is an insurgent, I would be sure that he was supplied with an ID and money.

Interesting how this foreigner was likely able to get ID and money within hours of coming ashore but most of us wouldn’t have a clue how or much less have those connections. Who are his connections? The Feds may want to start with the Catholic Charities welcome table.
